Histopathology

Request a quote

Histopathology diagnoses and studies adverse effects/diseases by the microscopic examination of tissue, organs and/or cells.

The histopathological examination of tissues samples is one of the crucial endpoints of a toxicology study, and the results obtained are requisite for interpretation of the outcome and conclusions of the study.

Pathology plays an important part in toxicology since it provides information on the differences in tissue and organ morphology that establish the presence or absence of lesions and whether or not there are dose–effect relationships. Pathology data can facilitate the interpretation of other data, such as organ weight changes, clinical biochemistry or haematology findings.

InterBioTox offers the histopathological assessment by routine or special methods in the well-equipped and experienced  laboratory, and support Subacute, Subchronic & Chronic, Reproductive & Development Studies in vivo.
