RNDr. Mojmir Mach, PhD.

RNDr. Mojmir Mach, PhD. is the Scientific Director of the Institute of Experimental Pharmacology and Toxicology, Centre of Experimental Medicine of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, Bratislava, Executive Editor-In-Chief and Director of Editorial Office of the Journal Interdisciplinary Toxicology and steering member of Slovak Toxicology Society SETOX. Dr. Mojmír Mach is member of the Executive Committee of the Slovak Toxicology Society SETOX and from 2010 to 2016 was member of the Executive Committee of EUROTOX. He was also a member of the research team at Wright State University (OH, USA) studying the causes of Gulf War Syndrome financed by U.S. Department of Defence. Currently he coordinates a research project focusing on treatment of gestational hypoxia and is a partner in the H2020 the Marie Skłodowska-Curie action LOGIC LAB (Molecular logic lab-on-a-vesicle for intracellular diagnostics). He is an author over 60 publications in international peer-reviewed journals. He holds a doctoral degree in Pharmacology.

prof. RNDr. Sona Franova, PhD.

prof. RNDr. Sona Franova, PhD. is the Head of Pharmacology Department, Jessenius Faculty of Medicine in Martin, Comenius University in Bratislava (JFMED CU) where she also served as a professor of pharmacology. Besides, she is the Head of Laboratory of Experimental Pharmacology, Biomedical Centre in Martin (BioMed, JFMED CU).

 

She is a specialist in the experimental pharmacology of respiratory inflammatory diseases. Her particular area of expertise is the pharmacology of the airway defence reflexes and immunology of allergic inflammation.  

​She has been elected as a President of Slovak Pharmacological Society since 2008.

prof. Arkadiy Murashev, D.Sc.

prof. Arkadiy Murashev, D.Sc. is the Head of Biological Testing Center of Shemyakin and Ovchinnikov Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry. He is the statutory body of the test facility, who manages and represents it and acts on its behalf. The test facility is conducted non-clinical studies according to OECD Test Guidelines and OECD Principles of GLP. The test facility has earned AAALAC (Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care) accreditation, demonstrating their commitment to responsible animal care and use and good science.

​He is the Dean of BioMedPharmTechnological faculty of the Pushchino State Institute of Natural Science. Students of this faculty are taught the OECD Principles of GLP, the OECD Guidelines for the Testing of Chemicals and the humane and responsible animal care and use in research.

​

He is the organizer and honorary president of the Russian Laboratory Animal Science Association (Rus-LASA). Rus-LASA is the member of Federation of European Laboratory Animals Science Associations and the member of International Council for Laboratory Animal Science.
